When: Sunday, May 30, 2021 One Day Event; Open schooling on Saturday, May 29th. Earliest trailer arrivals, 1 p.m. on Friday.
Where: Catalpa Corner Horse Park, Iowa City, IA
Tentative Schedule: ODE dressage starts at 8 a.m., showjumping tentative start at 10:30. Riders proceed directly from showjumping to cross country.
Levels offered: Novice, Beginner Novice, Starter, Fantasy
Open/Close Dates: Opening date is Tuesday, April 20. Closing date is Tuesday, May 18. Closing date is the date on which all entries must be complete (Complete entry means: registration, entry fee, stall deposit, signed release forms are in the secretary’s possession.) If fees are submitted electronically, completed release forms may be presented to the secretary to receive your competition packet. No pre-registration required for open schooling.
Ride times: Completed entries will receive a ride time on Tuesday, May 25th.
Dress: Neat casual. Breeches, belt, boots or paddock boots and half chaps, shirt with a collar. Must have ASTM-approved helmet and hard-soled shoes whenever mounted. Must have safety vest for xc schooling and xc competition. Riders and horses should wear their xc gear to showjumping on Sunday.
Fees: Show entry, including stabling, show fees and Saturday xc school is $175. Show entry and Sunday day stall only (no schooling) is $130. Additional dressage test(s): $25 per test. Saturday schooling only: $50 for adults, $45 for riders under 18. Saturday day stall for those schooling xc only (not entered in schooling show), if available: $30. A refundable $25 stall strip fee is required. Stall deposit checks will be shredded or PayPal stall strip deposits returned if stalls are stripped. PayPal to Catalpacorner@gmail.com in two payments: $181 ($6 convenience fee); and $25. Do not use PayPal Friends and Family option.
Camping: Be mindful with grill use. No grills in barns. With electric, $30 per night or $75 for weekend (Friday 1 p.m. through Monday morning 10 a.m.), limited slots, contact secretary. Without electric: $15 per night. Camper tags will be issued.
Only complete entries will receive a ride time.

Riders who are not competing in the show may school on Saturday for a $50 fee ($45 for riders under 18 years old) and signed waivers presented upon entry to the park. Daystall fee is $30 if stalls are available. Stabling preference will be granted to those entered in the show.
Withdrawals or changes to entry accepted by email only, before 9 p.m. on the closing date. Withdrawal refunds will be less a $25 office fee. No changes to entries after closing date, except in the case of documented veterinary or medical emergency. Veterinary or medical emergency withdrawal require a professional letter to the secretary. If space is available, post entries accepted with $25 late fee. Stallion entry by permission of organizer only – additional tack stall required.
Show will be held rain or shine. If cancellation is required due to footing concerns, refunds less show set up expenses will be granted.
Dressage tests: All tests 2018 B for the level. Starter and fantasy 2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test B
Electronic Entry Form will begin accepting responses at 7 a.m. on the opening date.
